Portland, OR, October 30, 2009 -- Recording artist Illaj releases his new single entitled "AIRplane" produced by Young Asap as a follow up to his recent mixtape "What Would Picasso Do?". The release of the single will be followed by a release party that will be put on by Illababy.

Illaj is the president of Illababy Entertainment, a company specializing in a variety of subjects related to the entertainment industry such as event planning, promotion, marketing, artist management, clothing design, and music. After releasing a variety of mixtapes and albums, Illaj took a new approach with his most recent release of his mixtape What Would Picasso Do? He bridged gaps between hip hop and electronic and dance styles to create a new sound. The single "AIRplane" marks a continuation of his new musical style.

"I'm excited to get focused on an original track," said Illaj about the new single. "I think "AIRplane", and all its remixes, will cover a lot of territory and give my fans a better grasp of what I'm capable of. I love the song and am looking forward to seeing the world react to it."

The single is scheduled to drop in November of 2009, with a release party in Portland, Oregon on October 30, 2009.
